With the impetus of the Concrete Agenda for Action (ACA), a community day was held in the Caño Amarillo sector, Cathedral parish in Caracas, with the installation of the Camp of the Seven Transformations (7T). The initiative, promoted by the national government, is part of the programs “Caracas Smile” and “Less desk, more territory”, aimed at providing direct attention to the Venezuelan population.

The activity benefited the Cacique Carapaica commune and more than eight community councils, who received medical assistance, the delivery of essential supplies and services such as barbershops, hairdressers and recreational activities for boys and girls. The day seeks to strengthen direct contact with communities and ensure timely responses to their needs.

The head of government of Caracas, Nahum Fernández, through his Instagram account, reported that a special plan will be implemented to serve areas with the sweeping, maintenance and recovery of public spaces. “We are complying with Q7, specifically Q2 on Human Cities, where we provide direct care to the people,” he explained.

For her part, the mayor of Caracas, A/J Carmen Meléndez, highlighted the deployment of teams in the Cathedral parish to strengthen care for the community. “We set up the 7 o'clock camp that will be servicing every corner of this commune, in response to a direct instruction from President Nicolás Maduro,” he said.

This program will be expanded to the 22 parishes in Caracas, with days scheduled three times a week to ensure continuity of care. The initiative reinforces the commitment to bring public services closer to communities and strengthen communal self-government to improve local management.
