In Delta Amacuro, CANTV began work to modernize fiber optic transmission networks and progressively connect more than a thousand subscribers to the Aba Ultra service, in the Villa Rosa community, sectors I, II and III, of the José Vidal Marcano parish, in the Tucupita municipality.
According to a press release from the telephone company, new users will be able to enjoy the benefits of GPON technology, through the services offered by the Company: high speed Internet, Aba TV GO, Cantv streaming and IP Telephony.
To date, the technical deployment has included the construction of the optical distribution network (ODN) and advances in the laying of 13,000 meters of fiber optic cable. Work will continue with the installation of FAT boxes and internal connections.
Luis Farrera, spokesman for the Technical Telecommunications Board (MTT), reported that carrying out the project in the three sectors of Villa Rosa is possible thanks to the coordination between Popular Power and the Company's public servants.
“We thank the entire team of the Company for taking into account the Villa Rosa community; not only will the transmission networks in sectors I and II be modernized, they will also connect to sector III, considered a zone of silence,” he explained.
