Carmen Meléndez regarding the formation of the CBBI: Every day we are getting more prepared

During the formation of the Bolivarian Integral Base Committees (CBBI), the mayor of the Libertador municipality, Carmen Meléndez, highlighted the participation of Popular Power in the actions organized by the Bolivarian Government to defend the Homeland.

In this regard, it welcomed the organization of the People in the exercise of their sovereignty in the processes of choice for the well-being and development of their communities.

“Every day we are preparing more (...) In this street there are 82 participants, 82 ballots. There are the nine members of the CBBI, as ordered by President Nicolás Maduro; the PSUV in the restructuring. I am sure that there is no boss or boss, there will be a team of nine people that they have chosen today - Wednesday - to work, to continue working for the recovery of La Pastora, also to continue working for the comprehensive defense of our territory,” he said.

Finally, he explained that the Bolivarian Integral Base Committees are a team that works to advance the development and security of their communities.
