CICPC authorities inaugurate new facilities in Maturín, Monagas state

Authorities of the Criminal and Criminal Scientific Investigations Corps (CICPC) inaugurated new facilities for the scientific clarification of crime, in Maturín, Monagas state .

The director of CICIP, Douglas Rico, who presided over the inauguration, stressed that the development of these actions responds to what was instructed by the sectoral vice-president of Public Security and Peace Policy, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, and they represent an effort to continue strengthening scientific research, security and justice, thus ensuring the efficiency of criminal investigation services in the eastern region.

Among the areas inaugurated are laboratories for computer, financial and telecommunications expertise, administrative matters, strategic information analysis and monitoring, police reviews and dormitories.

“The implementation of these spaces allows us to continue contributing to the continuous preparation and updating of procedures applied by the human talent that lives in these significant and important areas, the backbone of the Scientific Police,” said the MPPRIJP Press.

During the event, the “C/G Douglas Arnoldo Rico González” auditorium was also inaugurated, which has an innovative design, with capacity for 150 people. In addition, five study rooms were built to strengthen the knowledge, comprehensive training and academic preparation of civil servants.
