CICPC captured two men for femicide in Apure

Members of the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigations Corps (CICPC), stationed in Apure, were able to clarify the femicide of Francis Velásquez.

According to information issued by the director general of this police force, Douglas Rico, Velasquez Manrique was found dead and in a state of decay inside her home on July 1st.

In this regard, he explained that research work determined “that the deceased had a romantic relationship with Anthony Javier Roa Mendivelso (18) and on the day of the incident, they had an argument, which became heated, so he chose to hit her with a tube, causing her death immediately”.

The assailant fled the scene aboard the deceased's motorcycle; later, he returned to his friend Oscar David Hernández Barón (20), with whom he stole several valuable items from the deceased.

The officers captured both individuals, who were trying to flee the state.
