The National Electoral Council (CNE) presented this Thursday, January 30, the schedule for the upcoming electoral event to renew the 277 seats of the National Assembly (AN), elect 23 governors, 335 mayors, 23 legislative councils and 335 municipal councils.
The dates set out in the schedule:
The regulations for setting out the requirements for the formation of voter groups and own initiative will be made on February 10.
Then, on February 19, the preliminary voter registration will be cut off.
By February 25, the deadline for submitting and modifying applications will begin, and this same day organizations for political purposes will be invited to submit those authorized to apply.
On February 26, the final electoral registration will be cut.
On March 5, the collection of applications will be corrected, as well as the admission or rejection of applications.
The closing minutes for applications will be drawn up on March 8.
The voting machine software audit will take place on the 17th and 18th.
The modification and replacement of the ready application will take 9 days and will be from March 20 to March 28.
The accreditation of witnesses will take place for 30 days and begins on April 28 and ends on April 26.
The deployment and distribution of electoral material to federal entities will take place from April 5 to 18.
The electoral process will have a simulacrum on April 13. Meanwhile, the electoral technological infrastructure audit will be carried out for three days starting on April 14 and ending on April 16.
The reception of voting machines at the voting centers will be on April 23 and the installation of the polling stations will be installed on April 25.
Finally, on Sunday, April 27, the constitution of the polling stations for the celebration of the electoral event is scheduled.
