CNE published electoral schedule for the April 27 elections

The chief rector of the National Electoral Council (CNE), Conrado Pérez, announced the electoral schedule for the comprehensive elections of April 27, 2025.

In this context, he specified that a total of 906,030 members of the Bureau will be convened for these elections, using the same list of people who played this role in the presidential election of July 28.

“An audit was carried out with the participation of the corresponding political bodies and it was determined that, given the proximity of the election, the electoral body will ratify those personnel who already had experience in the past elections,” he said.

Below is the full electoral schedule:

February 10: Regulations for the allocation of funds for the formation of voter groups and own initiative.
February 19: Preliminary Electoral Registration Court.
February 25: Start of the submission period and modification of applications. That same day, organizations for political purposes will be called upon to submit those authorized to apply.
February 26: Presentation of the final voter registration cutoff.
March 5: Correction of application collections, as well as the admission or rejection of applications.
March 8: Preparation of the closing minutes for applications.
March 17 and 18: Audit of the voting machine software.
March 20 to March 28: Modification and replacement of the ready application, with a period of 9 days.
April 13: Simulation of the electoral process.
April 14-April 16: Audit of electoral technological infrastructure, for three days.
April 5 to April 18: Deployment and distribution of electoral material to federal entities.
April 23: Reception of voting machines at voting centers.
April 25: Installation of polling stations.
March 28 to April 26: Witness accreditations, for 30 days.
April 27: Constitution of the polling stations for the celebration of the electoral event.
