Command post of the Caracas mayor's office at the disposal of the CNE for the first popular consultation 2025

The heads of the electoral commission of the communal circuits of Caracas, through a videoconference, met with the mayor of the Libertador Municipality, Carmen Meléndez, this Saturday, February 1, to refine details for the next National Popular Consultation to be held this Sunday, February 2.

The mayor of Caracas, in a message on her social networks, said that the reason for the meeting is the preparation “so that everything is perfectly coordinated this Sunday during the National Popular Consultation.” He also stressed that the command post of the mayor's office of Caracas “will be under the command of the National Electoral Council, on a day that will march efficiently and effectively.”

“The city of Caracas will have 300 authorized electoral centers and it will be another historic day, with which we will continue to transform each territory. Your vote is very important for the present and future of your community,” said the mayor.

Meléndez invited the people of Caracas “to participate on Sunday in this Popular Consultation in your territory, in your commune, in your parish. We are all going to mobilize for this great election holiday of the National Consultation, to decide which project is the one they select to continue building in the territory, so all invited, let no one be left out.”
