Complejo Siderurgico Nacional presents advances that will allow it to strengthen production

The National Steel Complex, S.A. Planta Casima, presented to the Decentralized Service for Standardization, Quality, Metrology and Technical Regulations (Sencamer) a series of technical inventions developed internally, with the objective of obtaining official certification to support import substitution. This initiative demonstrates the capacity of national talent to generate their own solutions, optimize resources and strengthen the company's industrial autonomy.

In this regard, the Talleres area presented the manufacture of a billet conveyor roller and a centering cylinder for distributors, to achieve strategic savings. The Emptying area showed the improvement of the central trolley for conditioning buckets, while Refractarios developed the manufacture of a lighter, to replace components that were previously imported.

Subsequently, a tour of the areas was carried out to demonstrate in the field the operation of these innovations. During the visit, it was possible to verify the ingenuity and capacity of the working class, whose commitment is aimed at keeping the plant operating under optimal conditions for continuous and efficient production.

These advances are taking place in compliance with the guidelines of the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, and the Venezuelan Corporation of Guayana (CVG), led by Héctor Silva, which promote the development of national inventiveness and technological sovereignty as pillars for the country's industrial growth.
