Around 80 spokespersons and spokespersons from axis 5 of the El Junquito parish, organized in the Bicentennial Era commune, held an assembly with the Deputy Minister of Urban and Family Agriculture, Luis Leonardo Castillo, at UEN Sabaneta, located at kilometer 16, Bolivarian Liberator municipality of the Capital District, with the objective of demonstrating the strengths and weaknesses of the territory and promoting the productive development of the said parish.

In this regard, Jeniffer Prieto, spokesperson for the Our Future community council of the Sabaneta Baja La Lom a sector, explained that this commune has a high agricultural potential. He said that around 120 farmers produce food that supplies inhabitants of the sectors: El Topo Socialista, Sabaneta Baja La Loma and Sabaneta La Cruz and that the commune is made up of 1,441 families organized in five communal councils.

For his part, Evaldio Ramírez, spokesman for the Los Manantiales Lands committee in the same commune, explained the weaknesses of the axis in order to solve them with the help of the Bolivarian Government led by President Nicolás Maduro and to advance agricultural production. He added that different items are produced in the town in four production cycles.

Luis Leonardo Castillo, Deputy Minister of Urban and Family Agriculture, expressed a few words of congratulations to the spokespersons for the assembly spirit they inherited from Commander Chávez, after listening carefully to the weaknesses, strengths and proposals to solve the problem of the community, which cannot be solved only by the institution, but by the organized people.

He stressed that the country is going through an imperial siege and that the right wing does not rest on trying to divide the revolutionary forces of the State. “We believe that most of us have the will to continue working, strengthening our territories and, above all, maintaining the Bolivarian Revolution with President Nicolás Maduro, responding, fighting for all these attacks by the Empire.”

He specified that it is his responsibility to accompany the El Junquito parish and asked farmers to organize themselves in working groups to carry out the peasant market project, with the items they produce in that territory, which was one of the work proposals that the spokespersons expressed.

“Let's start working, to shape it with the productive approach. How nice it would be if we in that market have people who give talks, who socialize the nutritional benefits; that this market can also address the canteens of schools in El Junquito,” he said.
