Conviasa announced suspension of flights to Mexico, Cuba and Nicaragua due to hurricane Melissa

The Venezuelan Consortium of Aeronautical Industries and Air Services S.A (CONVIASA) announced the suspension of flights to Mexico, Cuba and Nicaragua due to the presence of Hurricane Melissa in the Caribbean Sea.
Through a post on its social networks, the airline explained that flights will remain suspended until October 28, 2025.
The publication also details that the rescheduling dates will be revealed soon. “CONVIASA will continue to evaluate the evolution of the climate phenomenon to ensure the safe conduct of flights.”
CONVIASA invited passengers to be aware of upcoming announcements, as well as to write to [email protected] for additional information.
Tropical Storm Melissa reached the Caribbean Sea, and reached hurricane status this Saturday, October 25.
