“26% of world oil production is under unilateral coercive measures,” said the Minister of Hydrocarbons, Delcy Rodrígue z, during her speech at the 9th International Seminar of the Organization of Petroleum Producing Countries (OPEC).

In that sense, he spoke of the case of Venezuela, which has 1,400 unilateral coercive measures, “there is an economic war against the country that is focused, precisely, on the hydrocarbons sector.”

“The world is at war, a war where major energy producers are involved, where main energy consumers are objective, where expansionism threatens an important region that produces oil and gas.”

Rodríguez highlighted the advances that Venezuela has made in terms of hydrocarbon production and added that the nation is preparing to “export its first gas molecule in the year 2027".
