Delcy Rodríguez in Retail: We closed the third quarter with growth of 8.71% (+CEPAL)

The Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, reaffirmed Venezuela 's commitment to moving forward despite challenges, during her participation in the ninth edition of the Retail to the Venezuelan Radiography of ANSA 2025.

“We have reached a consensus to work for our sovereignty and territorial integrity,” said Rodríguez, stressing that the national economy remains firm in the face of adversity, especially in the commercial sector, which is increasingly close to the people.

He highlighted the encouraging data on the country's economic growth, reported by the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC). “We closed the third quarter with growth of 8.71%, after 18 consecutive quarters of growth,” he emphasized.

In addition, Rodríguez explained that the commercial sector has reached almost 8% of GDP, with a tax collection of 13.5%. With a 49% increase in the registration of new brands and the creation of nearly 650,000 jobs, the vice president attributed these achievements to the efforts and innovation of the Venezuelan people.
