Deputy Martínez: Venezuelans' rejection of any intervention in the country is growing

The opposition deputy to the National Assembly (AN), Luis Eduardo Martínez, said that the Law on the Command for the Integral Defense of the Nation represents absolute interaction between the different sectors of military, police and popular life, in order to guarantee the sovereignty, freedom and peace of Venezuela.

In this regard, in the Al Aire program, broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), the parliamentarian highlighted the interaction of different sectors of Venezuelan politics that join the defense of sovereignty and territorial integrity.

“No one can be on the sidelines of what is happening in the country, no one and we are all called to be involved in defending what is ours, Venezuela hurts,” he said.

He added that those who call for military interventions, “must be repudiated because they harm the country, it is an extreme radicalism that has no support in Venezuela, it is a very minimal sector.”

“Venezuela is a joyful people, who under no circumstances consider the possibility of violence in their lives, the Venezuelan people are people of peace. Venezuelans' rejection of any form of intervention in the country is growing,” he emphasized.
