Diosdado Cabello confirms the shooting down of a drug plane in Apure this Wednesday

Diosdado Cabello, during the Con El Mazo Dando program, reported that this Wednesday, November 11, a small plane was shot down that violated Venezuelan airspace after complying with the international protocol for this type of action against drug trafficking.

“A small plane was shot down and had all the protocol it requires, and when it was ready to leave the territory, it was forced to go ashore through the Apure state and at this time the place where it landed has not been reached,” said the Minister of People's Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace,

He specified that currently more than 64,500 kilos of drugs have been seized by the Venezuelan government in 2025, which represents the second highest number of drug seizures since the departure of the US anti-drug office known by its English DEA.
