The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, criticized the president of the Dominican Republic, Luis Abinader, for trying to ignore the million-dollar debt that his country has with Venezuela.

“I mentioned these days a Dominican citizen who runs a gang of scammers in the Dominican Republic, Luis Abinader, is now president of that country, but he is the leader of a gang, and when I saw the treatment that that government gives to Venezuela, I reminded him of his country's 350 million dollar debt to Venezuela, which they refuse to cancel,” Cabello said.

He reminded the Dominican president that this debt was acquired by his nation within the framework of Petrocaribe, that is, acquired by the State. “He's a criminal who wants to play crazy, but just as poor people who have a criminal as president,” he said.
