Diosdado Cabello: The July 27 elections will be a popular holiday

The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, assured that the elections of July 27 will be “a popular festival”.

This was stated in his Con El Mazo Dando program, on the night of this Wednesday, June 11, where he dismissed the baseless criticism by opposition extremism against this new electoral process, where Venezuelans will elect mayors and municipal councils.

“The elections of May 25 were under threat and that is why now they are saying how is it possible that others will be held?” , he said at the same time that he highlighted the holding of the third popular consultation for youth projects on July 27.

“We are going to count on the addition of the Popular Youth Consultation to youth projects, which will turn it into a popular, communal, youth and people's festival,” he said.
