Diosdado Cabello: The security and peace of the people is everyone's issue

This Wednesday, November 12, the sectoral vice-president of Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, assured that ensuring the security and peace of the People is the responsibility of everyone and not just of the National Government.

“In this issue of security, there is no political color of any kind, of any nature (...), the issue of security belongs to a whole team, it is a problem that we all have to attend to our people,” he said during the Adaptation of the Peace Quadrants of the Altos Mirandinos.

For this reason, he celebrated the presence of the opposition mayor of the municipality of Los Salias, Edgar Laya. “Count on the support of the National Government for what we can help,” he said, reaffirming that security is everyone's task.

He also highlighted that Venezuela is committed to ensuring security for the people, noting that the number of criminal acts has decreased. “A bad week in terms of security, when I say bad, is that there are a lot of murders in Venezuela, there are like 15 right now (...) the numbers are there to prove it, there are states that go not a week or two weeks, even a month without a serious criminal act taking place,” he said.

He emphasized that the goal instructed by President Nicolás Maduro is to bring Venezuela to zero crimes. “This is everyone's job,” he said.
