Diosdado Cabello emphatically expressed that “there should be no children on the streets.”

In its program, Con El Mazo Dando highlighted that the revolution appointed an admiral named Mendoza to be in charge of this issue. “He spends it on the streets and reports the news about children and classmates who are on the street and he also attends to any instructions he gives him,” he explained.

The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) specified that children and people in street situations who are located “are cared for, registered, issued ID cards, taken to shelters and given love treatment: loving treatment. We are doing that work and we do it with love. Nobody forces us to do that.”

He denounced that there are “mafias with adult drug mafias and with child mafias”, and he said that “we are working and we are going to do the work”.
