Executive Vice President Delcy Rodríguez inaugurated the “Diego Vive” Theme Park

The Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, led the inauguration of the “Diego Vive” Theme Park in the company of national authorities.

The tour took place at the facilities of the National Art Gallery (GAN), in Caracas, where Rodríguez highlighted that the Expo Maradona: Diego Vive, carries with it the spirit of the “little onion, of the golden kid”, which offers immersive experiences that portray the most significant stages in the life of a great Latin American.

He stressed that those who had the joy of knowing and sharing with Diego Armando Maradona know that, in addition to having been an extraordinary athlete, today he also continues to be an immortal being who lives in the hearts of peoples.

He also highlighted the cultural and educational value of this exhibition, which pays homage to the trajectory of a world football icon that promotes the legacy of social commitment, Latin American identity and sporting passion that characterized Maradona.

Rodríguez expressed his gratitude to the organizers of the Expo Maradona: Diego Vive for providing Venezuelan youth with the opportunity to learn about and assume the example of life and struggle of the legendary Argentine soccer player.

He recalled Maradona's firm stance against corruption in the sports field, in particular his historic confrontation with the International Football Association Federation (FIFA).

He also highlighted that the Argentine athlete always raised his voice in defense of the humblest in Latin America, and he also called for unity in the face of imperialism.
