The exhibition Ali: Our Hands Sing You opened in the spaces of the historic Casa de Las Ventanas de Hierro in Coro, Falcón state, which opened its doors to pay this tribute to the town's singer, Ali Primera, full of color and tradition of Falconian popular culture, combining various artistic expressions.
The inauguration was attended by the president of the Falcón State Cultural Institute (INCUDEF), Inti Clark Boscán, who accompanied the talented wristband collective. “They are the creators of this unique exhibition where history comes to life through their creative hands,” he said.
“Ali: Our Hands Sing to You” is a varied and profoundly sensitive exhibition. In it, folk art has taken a step forward, combining the tenderness of rag dolls with plastic works and useful materials. The wristbands have managed to capture the sensitivity of Ali Primera's lyrics, bringing his songs to life.
Each piece is a representation of characters, landscapes, phrases and messages left by Ali Primera, who showed how the history and voice of the people are embodied in these creations. Each work is a testament to folk art, an act of love and a rag doll that embodies the essence of immortal songs.
The exhibition, the result of the synergy between the Institute of Culture of the state of Falcón and the creators of the Miranda municipality, is not just an exhibition, but a poetic reminder to keep legacy, hope and social condemnation alive. It extends as an invitation to reflection and to live this tradition that defines cultural identity.
