FANB rejected calls from ultra-right spokespersons for the invasion of Venezuela (+REDI)

The Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) raised its voice, this Friday, to categorically repudiate the recent statements of ultra-right spokespersons, who openly call on the United States to attack our country.

In this regard, the commanders of the eight Strategic Integral Defense Regions (REDI) that make up the Territorial Defensive System spoke out against these statements and emphasized that the military institution remains ready to defend our sovereignty and peace.

The commander of the Insular Maritime REDI, Admiral José Rafael Hernández Abchi, dismissed such a request as shameless, which is made by extremist members “from the comfort and luxury of the European continent”, pointing out that it is a miserable, despicable act to “promote war and end their human beings (...) rejecting their own roots and their people. They don't love their country and they don't obey the values and principles of independence, freedom and sovereignty.”

In the same way, he pointed out that these calls violate the provisions of the Charter of the United Nations, thus constituting a war crime according to the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court.

“This also constitutes the crime of treason established in our national legislation. The Bolivarian National Armed Forces and the glorious People of Venezuela, who today are in active resistance and permanent offensive, despise cowards, those who promote an invasion against Venezuela. They are traitors to the Fatherland and sooner rather than later they will be tried by law and justice,” he emphasized.

For his part, Major General Dilio Rodríguez, commander of REDI Capital, pointed out that these statements of the right wing pay tribute to the interests of their masters in the United States and not to those of the country where they were born.

“Know that our people, in the Bolivarian National Armed Forces and the organs of citizen security, there are no ambiguities when it comes to the defense of our homeland. To doubt is treason. We will never allow a traitor class to try to hand over our territory and natural resources again to satisfy the unrestrained desire of the North American empire,” he stressed.

He also reiterated the support of the FANB for President Nicolás Maduro and its commitment to defend our Homeland.

Meanwhile, M/G Wilfredo Medrano, commander of REDI Guayana, assured that the Venezuelan people and their FANB despise cowards who call for an invasion against our country.

“They are traitors to the country and will be judged as such. To request sanctions and invasions from the comfort and luxury obtained from corruption from Europe is a miserable, despicable and deplorable act. Anyone who promotes war is ignorant. All those people who act against the principles of freedom, sovereignty and independence, the legacy of our liberators, do not deserve to be called Venezuelans,” he said.

For his part, M/G Juan Ernesto Sulbarán, commander of the Eastern REDI, assured that they promote invasions against our people can only be described as despicable beings.

“That extremist right is the real criminal and terrorist organization. They are the real security threats that for years have fostered the destabilization of the country. Their actions are undoubtedly immoral, reproachable from any point of view. In our national law, their conduct is considered treason. The constant request to promote war, to intensify sanctions to collapse the country and make the people suffer, to promote violence and carry out psychological operations, symbolize a profound disregard for the life, well-being and future of the Venezuelan people and of the entire homeland, the legacy of our liberators,” he emphasized.

In the same way, M/G José Gregorio Martínez Campos, commander of the REDI Los Andes, pointed out that the FANB will never allow the traitor and surrendering political class to govern this country.

“These individuals who call for war, who act against the principles of freedom, sovereignty and independence bequeathed by our liberators, those individuals do not deserve to be called Venezuelans. The stateless attitude of the Venezuelan oligarchy trying to protect their own interests is not strange, and they have historically promoted invasions against Venezuela,” he said.

Meanwhile, M/G Pedro Esteban González Ovalles assured that the FANB is anti-fascist, anti-oligarchic, anti-colonialist and anti-imperialist, so he will defend this country with deep love against any foreign aggression.

“We want to tell this fascist extreme right that anyone who promotes a foreign invasion or a military attack on our nation will be considered a traitor to the homeland and a war criminal. They will be tried as traitors to the homeland and war criminals. From these heroic lands in the west of the country, the Bolivarian National Armed Forces, we express our love for our country, respect for our symbols, for our history and our supreme loyalty to the National Constitution,” he stressed.

Whoever promotes sanctions, wars and invasions of the country where their countrymen are does not deserve anyone's respect or consideration, said the commander of the REDI Los Llanos, Royman Antonio Hernández Briceño.

“Those who seek the violation of sovereignty, those who violate our principles of freedom and those who threaten the country's independence do not deserve to be called Venezuelans. Stateless people who endorse attacks by an empire on Venezuelan soil, must bear in mind that those of us here, the men and women who work every day with strength and dignity to build a great country, will defend peace and we will do it with determination and courage,” he stressed.
