FANB swore with discipline, obedience and absolute loyalty to defend Venezuela

The Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) swore discipline, obedience and loyalty to the absolute Homeland to defend Venezuela from its external enemies and to build with the Constitution a society of free men and women.

During the ceremony, on the occasion of the recognition and reaffirmation of their loyalty to Commander in Chief Nicolás Maduro, they swore an oath to defend the Venezuelan people.

Maduro invited all state and municipal police to consolidate and work for the country.

“There will be 24 state police officers, to all my heartfelt commitment, we have achieved the formula of the Peace Quadrants, we are going to consolidate them. We are defeating fascism and imperialism by guaranteeing peace in the country,” he said.

He also said that gigantic steps have been taken for citizen security, “have the commitment of the workers' president, of the people's president.”

During the ceremony, cadets handed over the sprat to Antonio José de Sucre, Grand Marshal of Ayacucho, which was used by the former during the independence period.

“It's a very beautiful gesture of the Venezuelan military youth to give me this swordsman. Cadet boys and girls, you are the future and it belongs to you, you will be the generals of the future of this sovereign, prosperous and independent Homeland,” he said.

The National President thanked him for the gift. “with discipline I will continue to give myself body and soul until I give my own life for your future, the future belongs to you and no one can steal it from you.”
