From his Telegram channel, the Foreign Minister of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Yván Gil, rejected the statements of the elected president of the Plurinational State of Bolivia, Rodrigo Paz, who has stated that he is not interested in having diplomatic relations with Venezuela, Cuba and Nicaragua

From the aforementioned social network, he wrote “Mr. Rodrigo Paz's message about the ALBA-TCP is a demonstration of ignorance and, even worse, of contempt for the history and Bolivarian values that gave life to the Republic of Bolivia. Talking so lightly about what he doesn't know only confirms his disconnection with the people and his alignment with the interests of the elites that always betrayed Bolivia.”

He also added, “you represent the elites who want to turn Bolivia into a colony and you can't, don't try to deceive, you represent them.”

He said that “we should remind him of something elementary: Bolivia was liberated and founded 200 years ago by Simon Bolivar and Antonio José de Sucre, whose ideals are still valid in the struggle for the sovereignty of our peoples. As America honors that legacy, you trample on it to please Washington. Their position is clearly anti-Bolivarian, anti-Latin American, pro-imperialist and pro-colonial.”
