FUNDACITE provided technical advice and supplies for the production of white corn to Yaracuyan producers

Yaracuy producers received technical advice and inputs for the agroecological production of white corn, with the purpose of strengthening food sovereignty and promoting sustainable practices.

The event, which took place at the facilities of the Foundation for the Development of Science and Technology (FUNDACITE), is part of a comprehensive support plan for the region's agricultural sector.

According to a press release from the Ministry of Science and Technology, during the training day, farmers addressed issues such as seed origin and quality, biological protection, regenerative agriculture and agroecological management.

The participants also received a package of essential supplies that includes a bag of high-quality white corn seed, a dose of biological inputs for pest and disease control.

In addition, the FUNDACITE team of experts offered them continuous advice to ensure success in implementing the techniques learned.
