Government of Bolívar announces day of operation for arteriovenous fistulas

The governor of the state of Bolívar, Ángel Marcano, reported that the Uyapar Hospital in Puerto Ordaz, in the Caroní municipality, was the pilot medical center to perform the first day of surgery for arteriovenous fistulas.

Through a press release from the regional government, it became known that in the first stage a total of 23 patients will benefit. “Currently, these patients receive hemodialysis treatment three times a week and will now have the surgical intervention they need,” he said.
