The Governor
of the state of La Guaira, José Alejandro Terán, handed over the fully rehabilitated
multiple court of urban planning Hugo
Chávez, in the Urimare parish.
“With great love, we give the
inhabitants of the Hugo Chávez urban planning two sports spaces that converge
in a single area so that our children, adolescents and the community in
general can enjoy decent infrastructure for recreation and
healthy recreation,” said the president.
In the place,
sports initiation schools and young people in the community will live, so Terán called on
coaches to develop different physical activity programs in these
spaces for young people, older adults, people with some type of disability
“who participate in supervised training every day and
organize tournaments on weekends, thus stimulating a culture of physical activity in this urban planning”.
The multipurpose court has two areas
for the disciplines of basketball, futsal and volleyball, as well as an
open area for combat sports, as well as for physical activity where the 17 communal councils of
Hugo Chávez urban planning can live.
Among the works carried out are the installation
of basketball rings, the manufacture and beading of the perimeter wall, the
installation of twelve lamps and futsal arches and the location of emblematic
drawings inside and outside sports spaces.
