Head of State approved change of name to Christian organizations from Civil Association to Church

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, approved the request of the country's Christian organizations to change the name from Civil Association to Church.

“It is possible to do it legally, so I order that it be done immediately, to proceed with the change of name from Civil Association to Church,” he said.

The instruction was given at the Teresa Carreño Theater, where she led a Christian meeting within the framework of the Day of the Shepherd and the Shepherdess.

In addition, the head of state approved the rest of the program presented by Christian organizations for various activities at the national level in the year 2025, in areas such as food, health and education in the poorest sectors of the country.

“I also very much agree with the spiritual agenda, the social agenda, the educational agenda, the cultural agenda and the solidarity actions. I totally agree,” he said.

He emphasized that “I have no doubt that Venezuela, our people, today and throughout its history, is a people that is blessed and is destined for great missions, in the history of our America and in the history of humanity,” he said.
