The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, called on the country's mayors, governors and political leaders to move forward, in the coming days, on four major issues to ensure the well-being of the Venezuelan people.
During a meeting with the Federal Governing Council, the Head of State indicated that the first point to which attention should be paid is the recovery of educational establishments by September 30 when the 2024 - 2025 school year begins.
“It is necessary that we make a joint effort with comprehensiveness, political effectiveness and administrative efficiency so that on September 30, when the classrooms open, we, even in the last municipality, will have the best conditions for the start of the school year,” he stressed.
The second issue he asked to address was attention to public services and to the reports that are received through the 1x10 Good Government.
“We have to resume, Venezuela is calm and at peace. Let us return as a priority the issue of public services in Venezuela and the complaints of 1x10 that place us in perfect harmony with the people,” he stressed.
“Thirdly, I ask you to ask the mayors and governors to give all their support to the projects voted and approved by the communities in consultation number two that we held on August 25,” he said.
On the fourth and final topic, Maduro called for a multidimensional dialogue that encompasses all sectors of the country to consolidate peace and prosperity.
