Head of State commemorated the 237th birthday of General in Chief Rafael Urdaneta

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, commemorated through his Telegram channel, the 237th birthday of General in Chief Rafael Urdaneta, whom he described as a “hero of loyalty”.

The Head of State described Urdaneta as a “genius of military effectiveness; his dignity, honesty and absolute intelligence forged an unbreakable man in battle; the strongest, most loyal arm of the Liberator Simon Bolivar”.

He also assured that his “spirit is today the flame of national defense, which burns in every man, woman, soldier, soldier and officer who swears to protect the Republic (...) In the face of any siege or threat to the Homeland and to the Peace of the People, we invoke their supreme loyalty as our greatest standard”.
