Head of State held a meeting with former Brazilian President João Goulart

This Sunday, January 12, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, held a meeting with former Brazilian President João Goulart, with whom he shared to consolidate “our ties of cooperation and peace”.

Through his social media accounts, the head of state commented that “I met with João Vicente Goulart, from whom I received this emotional letter that highlights the brotherhood, solidarity and words of support on the part of the Goulart family”.

In the message, he said he was “very grateful for your good wishes in this new mandate for our country, where we will continue to work and consolidate our ties of cooperation and peace.”
