“Humanity is facing a threat from the revival of colonialist fascist forces that are delusional in power and have no limits,” warned the head of state, Nicolás Maduro Moros, during the closing of the World International Anti-Fascist Festival.

Likewise, President Maduro stressed that The Anti-Fascist International is a proposal that has emerged “and that you have approved demonstrate the vitality that this anti-fascist movement has taken. This movement already exists in 77 countries around the world.”

“Fascism emerged in Europe because these European elites are daughters of colonialism, of slavery, of racism, of the imperial sacking of peoples, they have them in their blood,” he said.

In this sentiment, President Maduro emphasized the need to build “the peace of the just, the equality of the people, the prosperity of the new economic model and the new democracy of direct, popular and revolutionary democracy.”
