Head of State: I ask for the support of anti-fascist movements for the battle that Venezuela is waging

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, urged all social movements that are against fascism, neo fascism and similar expressions in the world to support the country in the battle it is waging.

“Today in Venezuela, a definitive battle is taking place and I ask social and political movements (...) to the movements of intellectuals, artists, creators of the world who understand the reasons for our struggle, and I ask them for the support, accompaniment and solidarity of all the anti-fascist and democratic movements in the world in favor of Venezuela for the right to freedom and its right to the future,” he said.

The Head of State also announced the creation of the Anti-Fascist International from Venezuela, a proposal that was supported by representatives of the more than 95 countries present.
