Head of State: I have given the order to move forward in the elimination of the vices that generate “pranes”

This Friday, January 31, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, reported that the Bolivarian Government continues to deploy actions aimed at strengthening the entire preventive and prison system.

In that sense, he argued that “I have given the order to move forward in the elimination of the vices that generate 'pranes'”.

“It is a victorious fight against crime and crime, and which we are now perfecting with the Peace Quadrants, as our Minister of Popular Power for Interior and Justice, colleague Bolivarian captain Diosdado Cabello Rondón, has said, we are going to strengthen the entire preventive system of justice and peace,” he explained.

He stressed that one of the goals is to build safe prisons to prevent the emergence of phenomena such as “pranato”.

This was stated during the Solemn Opening Session of Judicial Activities 2025, held at the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) and presentation of its Management Report corresponding to the year 2024.

To this end, he specified that it is necessary to apply a “strict system and with the support of all bodies of the judicial system, I have even asked Christian representatives for support, because religion is relief and hope for those who fall into crime”.
