During his participation in the closing ceremony of the 7T Workshop for Transformative Action, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, called for the construction of new direct communication systems with the People as an essential element to guarantee the efficiency and effectiveness of government management.

“Communication for the new story (...) it has to do with communication inward and to the People. We must build the story and the communication system of streets, media, networks, walls and radio Bemba, which is the only way in which we have broken the hegemony of social networks and make our management efficient,” he said.

From the Humboldt Hotel at the top of Waraira Repano, the head of state placed special emphasis on communication between the different instances of Government to guarantee the solution to the demands of the People.

“I think that politics is 80% truthful, clear, direct communication on time, now, it's about communicating and coordinating and that the Government Chamber works perfectly at all levels,” he pointed out while warning that “the only mistake we can't make is to stop talking to each other.”

“We have to marry each other, marry the Fatherland in communication, in tolerance, learn to value the efforts that we make as revolutionaries every day,” he urged.

He stressed that communication is essential in the task of transforming the State under the vision framed by Supreme Commander Hugo Chávez.

“It is very important to align correctly, to communicate profusely, to communicate to our People and to advance in the transformation of the State, and we are going to transform it with the strength of the PSUV (United Socialist Party of Venezuela) as the governing party of the Bolivarian Revolution, with the strength of social forces, of the organized people,” he said.
