Head of State: Nothing and no one will take away from Venezuela the glory of freedom conquered by blood and fire

From the Bolivar Theater where he participated in the Extraordinary Plenary of the V Congress of the PSUV and IV of the JPSUV, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, responded to the threats that imperialism and opposition extremism are being made against the country and warned that the country is organized to defend freedom and sovereignty.

“In the Bolivarian Revolution, we have built great social and political power,” he stressed while recalling that this level of organization, which includes the working class, students, young people, peasants and workers, has been a consequence of the democratization process initiated by Supreme Commander Hugo Chávez.

“Hugo Chávez was the great democratizer of the new society and of the new State under construction,” he emphasized and pointed out that this power is based on Bolivarian doctrine for the defense of the Homeland against any aggression.

“Nothing and no one will take away from Venezuela the glory of freedom conquered by blood and fire,” he said.
