Head of State received Olympic athletes and parathletes at the Miraflores Palace

In an emotional event held in the Simon Bolivar Hall of the Miraflores Palace, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, welcomed the athletes and parathletes who represented the country in the last Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

In the Paralympic arena, Lisbeli Vera presented the banner after her classification in the double category of athletics, 400m T47 and 200m T47, where she won a silver medal while Luis Felipe Rodriguez also had the honor of wearing the national tricolor at the opening of this sporting event.

Tricolor participation in Paris 2024

Venezuela participated in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games with a delegation composed of 33 athletes classified in 11 sports, while in the Paralympic Games, the Venezuelan presence was represented by 23 parathletes in 9 disciplines. Venezuela's participation in these international sporting events is a reflection of the talent and dedication of our athletes, as well as a sign of the country's commitment to inclusive sports and sporting excellence.
