Head of State: We will defeat the oligarchy and imperialism in any circumstance we have to face

On Tuesday night, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, highlighted the victories that the Venezuelan people have achieved over these 25 years in the face of constant aggressions and imperialist siege.

“Together we defeated the 2002-2003 oil sabotage, as well as the coup d'etat of April 11, when we declared the indefinite general strike that April 12 in the morning, together we defeated the guarimbas of the 14th, the 17th and now together with the Militia Fighting Corps, we will defeat the oligarchy and imperialism in whatever circumstance we have to face, always with God's blessing and in perfect union,” he said.

In his speech at the Workers' Congress, he said that “Venezuela has been denouncing, confronting and defeating a multidimensional campaign of aggression that ranges from psychological terrorism to the piracy of the privateers who assaulted oil.”

In that regard, the head of state commented that Venezuela has demonstrated that it is a strong country, and that it has real power.

“We have demonstrated that we are prepared to continue our march, and what's more, we are prepared to accelerate the march of a profound Revolution that gives Power to the People, completely and definitely, without intermediaries,” he emphasized.
