Historic! Six Venezuelans will be present at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup

The rise of Venezuelan players abroad is visible and an example of this is that six Venezuelan players will compete in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.

Vinotinto's top scorer, champion of the 2024 CONCACAF Champions Cup, Salomón Rondón will play for Mexico's Pachuca; number 8 in dribbling in Brazil, Yeferson Soteldo, will be present with his new club and the current champion of the Copa Libertadores, Fluminense.

For his part, the champion of the Copa Libertadores 2024, winner of the Silver Ball in Brazil, Jefferson Savarino, will be present with Botafogo. While Telasco Segovia, who has established himself as a creative flyer in Major League Soccer (MLS), will play for Inter Miami.

Meanwhile, David Martínez will work his magic with Los Angeles FC, also from the MLS, and the young battering ram, Matías Lacava, with the current K-League champion, Ulsan Hyundai from South Korea.

Soteldo and Lacava are the only ones who will face each other in the group stage.

The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup will take place from June 14 to July 13 with the participation of 32 teams.
