The Institute for the Arts of Image and Space (IARTES) invited the general public to the discussion “Living History: Riddle, Achievements, the Legacy of the Cristóbal Rojas School”, which will be held on Friday, November 14 at 2:00 p.m.

This activity, which will take place in the institution's Gladys Meneses room, takes place within the framework of the VI Southern Biennial. Peoples in Resistance: The Power of Diversity, to reflect and analyze the influence and legacy of this important institution in national artistic education.

This discussion will be moderated by Obed Delfin and speakers by Oswaldo Blasco, Dalia Marrufo and Juan Carlos Lugo, who will be responsible for expanding the knowledge of the attendees.

The Cristóbal Rojas Technical School of Visual Arts is the institution with the greatest tradition in teaching plastic arts in Venezuela, with a mission to promote artistic production through the Network of Technical Schools of Visual Arts. It focuses on the training of artists in disciplines such as drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, design, among others.
