Venezuelan striker Josef Martínez made his big debut with his San José Earthquakes, after scoring a double that gave his club a 3-0 victory over Monterrey Bay FC, in a friendly pre-season match of Major League Soccer (MLS).
The Venezuelan left very good impressions in this first meeting with his new club, both the management and the fans are full of expectations for the start of the season.
Martínez comes to Monterrey Bay from Montreal CF, a Canadian club that lives in the MLS. The Venezuelan was the best player of that club in 2024.
