INAC activated Research Board after aircraft accident in Maiquetía

The National Institute of Civil Aviation (INAC), reported on the activation of the Accident Investigation Board, following the crash of a small plane during the takeoff maneuver at the “Simón Bolívar” International Airport in Maiquetía, in the state of La Guaira.
Through a newsletter published on their Instagram account, the agency's authorities reported that, this Wednesday, September 24, at 12:52pm (Venezuela time), a Learjet 55 aircraft, taking off the airport runway, rushed to the ground.
“The search and rescue protocols were activated, achieving the rescue alive of two passengers who immediately received medical attention and were in stable conditions,” said the report, which attached an image with the caption Case YV3440.
As required by the aeronautical authority, the board of inquiry proceeds to gather all the information on the facts that would allow us to find the causes that generated the accident.
