In Caracas, Paseo Guaicaipura y Urquía, located in Plaza Venezuela, was inaugurated as a new space for family recreation, which can be visited at night and during the day in Plaza Las Banderas, located on the Gran Cacique Guaicaipura Highway.
The mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, reported that this space offers gastronomic options, a children's playground and security. “Here, in Plaza Venezuela, there is now this wonderful option to enjoy delicious desserts, food, books, a children's playground, with public bathrooms and security,” he said on his social networks.
In addition, in Plaza Bolívar in Caracas, projects are being developed aimed at improving services and quality of life in the Historic Quarter.
The coordination between the Comuna Cacique Carapaica and the government teams made it possible to transform boulevards and public spaces, which favored more than 2,600 families and visitors who come to enjoy culture, Christmas festivities and historical heritage.
The mayor stressed that these actions are part of the comprehensive recovery of urban spaces. “Spaces recovered by the Mayor's Office of Caracas, the Government of Caracas and Together Everything Is Possible,” he said.
With these initiatives, the Venezuelan capital adds new areas of recreation and coexistence, which reinforce the authorities' commitment to citizen welfare and the preservation of the city's emblematic spaces.
