Mayor Meléndez extended TransCaracas schedule

Mayor Carmen Meléndez announced on Tuesday the extension of TransCaracas's schedule to 9:00 p.m., on all of its routes, in an action aimed at strengthening the city's public transportation system.

During a day of Operation Caracas Smile, held in Sucre parish, Meléndez reported on the incorporation of a trimoto for each commune and communal circuit, as well as the provision of two jeeps to facilitate mobility in the territory. He also highlighted the reactivation of two food houses and improvements to the lighting system.

The comprehensive works carried out in the Sucre parish include the rehabilitation of 10 blocks, waterproofing, painting, installation of broths and recovery of drains.

The day also included the installation of a police module, a self-government room and a house for justices of the peace, as part of the initial achievements of the Caravan of Solutions, which brings together 23 organizations.
