The Paseo Los Próceres, in Caracas, is under permanent maintenance for its conservation, as reported by Mayor A/J Carmen Meléndez, this Tuesday through the social network Threads.

The Caracas authority assured that the Venezuelan monument and its surroundings are under “constant maintenance as part of their conservation process, and for this purpose crews from the Solutions Brigades and a multidisciplinary team are active.”

Meléndez explained that during this December 31 he is “inspecting the work we carry out in these historic and recreational spaces for the whole town”.

The Paseo Los Próceres was inaugurated in 1956 by Marcos Pérez Jiménez, during the de facto government he presided over until 1958.

It is located near the Venezuelan Military Academy, in the vicinity of the Tiuna Fort in Caracas, and has a journey of more than 2 kilometers. It is an avenue or urban connection between the military space and the University City of Caracas.
