The sectoral vice-president for Politics, Public
Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, stressed that the European
drug report 2025 does not name Venezuela anywhere either.
“The European Drug Report 2025 points out
that trafficking networks use multiple routes to increase the supply
of cocaine in Europe and nowhere does it indicate the participation of Venezuela,” said
Cabello Rondón, during a press conference.
The also Minister of People's Power for Internal
Relations, Justice and Peace, indicated that in this report Spain
reported its highest seizure of cocaine in 2024, a total of 13 tons in a
single shipment, hidden in bananas from the port of Guayaquil, in Ecuador.”
“Who has control of that port? , all with the
approval of Daniel Novoa and his family, but the problem is Venezuela according to the
United States,” he added.
In that sense, he said that if the United States
used all that power to counteract 87% of drugs that come out through
the Pacific, “we would be talking about serious things”, but when it is used to
attack only 5% we are talking about a plan other than that of combating drug trafficking,
“it is to seek regime change in Venezuela, accusing us of what they do.”
He also rejected the monetary expenditure that the North American nation
makes on submarine military vessels in the Caribbean Sea, which costs more than 10 million a day (according to experts)
which could be used to buy antidotes worth only $45 and could save Americans who use fentanyl.
Cabello emphasized that fentanyl has never been
seized in Venezuela.
