Minister Cardillo awarded credentials to the directors of the Weightlifting and Rowing Federations

The Minister of Popular Power for Sports, Franklin Cardillo, presented
the credentials to the new boards of directors of the Venezuelan
Weightlifting Federation, chaired by Luis Seijas, and the Venezuelan Rowing Federation, Joel Pérez.
The award took place at the last session of the year of the Board
of Directors of the National Sports Institute (IND) in the city of Caracas,
with the participation of the president of the Venezuelan Olympic Committee (COV),
María Soto, together with representatives of sports federations, the area of
high performance and comprehensive athlete care.
With this meeting, the Bolivarian Government
reaffirms its commitment to continue working hand in hand with athletes and
coaches, projecting a 2026 of great victories for our country.
At the meeting, Cardillo reported that the
legally constituted sports federations achieved an admirable 95% success, guaranteeing
transparency and order in management.
“We are fulfilling our athletes and coaches, strengthening the foundations so that 2026 will be a year of victories and great international performances. We are still working with passion for the Golden Generation!” , Cardillo said.
