Minister Márquez inspected the operation of the “G/J Rafael Urdaneta” Thermoelectric Complex in Zulia

During the tour, Márquez verified the progress of work aimed at strengthening the electrical service.

As part of the National Plan for Inspections and Integral Maintenance of the National Electrical System (SEN), the Minister of Popular Power for Electric Energy (MPPEE), Jorge Márquez, inspected the facilities of the G/J Rafael Urdaneta Thermoelectric Complex, known as Termozulia, in order to verify the progress of work aimed at strengthening the electricity service.

During his visit, accompanied by the president of the National Electric Corporation (CORPOELEC), José Luis Betancourt, he toured the facilities of this essential infrastructure for the western region of the country, the MPPEE reported on his website.

Márquez accompanied the workers of Termozulia, located in the municipality of La Cañada de Urdaneta, in their efforts to reinforce the generation process, guaranteeing quality and efficiency standards.

The also Sectorial Vice President of Public Works and Services noted the maintenance and vegetation control of the Buena Vista-Morochas transmission line, which interconnects areas of the Andean axis and the west of the country.

It highlights that with the permanent deployment of the Bolivarian Government, led by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, the full functioning of the SEN is guaranteed, which contributes to a reliable service for Venezuelans.
