Minister of Communes: The National Popular Consultation is a successful policy with the legitimacy of the People

The Minister for Communes and Social Movements, Ángel Prado, stressed that the election day of the National Popular Consultation was fully democratic.

He also described as correct the policy of the Bolivarian Government, which seeks to territorialize the nation's budget based on prioritized proposals by the communities.

With regard to the projects approved in 2024, he pointed out that 75% of those financed by the Federal Government Council were fulfilled, while the governors and mayors “fulfilled a little more than 85%, but the People's Power managed to fulfill almost 94%, in other words, this is a totally successful policy and in the legitimacy of our people; the perfect method is the perfect formula.”

Prado described the day as a democratic holiday, and highlighted the participation of Popular Power.
