The Minister of Popular Power for Communes, Social Movements and Urban Agriculture, Ángel Prado, reported that more than 36,000 community projects will be nominated in the fourth National Popular Consultation to be held next Sunday, November 23.

Prado specified that 8,630 polling stations will be activated and a total of 9,963 voting stations will be enabled.

He also indicated that there are also active electoral commissions with 19,926 board members.

“We are working to ensure that these elections are where there is nothing new, because we are creating the conditions in time so that everyone feels reflected and identified with the processes,” said Prado.

He stressed that 50% of the proposed projects are aimed at serving public services, that is, “the people work hard to solve specific problems in their community.”

He highlighted that 23,000 projects approved in the National Popular Consultation have been executed in 18 months.
